EVERYBODY’S GAME

Our Everybody's Game presentations work to break down homophobia/transphobia and discrimination in sport and society.

We believe that every Kiwi should feel comfortable participating in sport.

Objectives of the Everybody’s Game presentations are:

  1. Comfort through normality those who are discovering they are of a minority sexuality or gender. Let them know they are welcome in all sports and other extra-curricular activities.

  2. Let straight students know that derogatory terms (even when said with no intended harm) can make it harder for people to accept their sexuality, and you never know who may be questioning their sexuality or gender.

  3. Share strategies that our speakers have used to overcome homophobia and transphobia in sport and society.

  4. Ensure students know who they can talk to if they wish to discuss their sexuality or gender.

A huge thank you to the sponsors of Everybody's Game:

Thank you to all our speakers who have agreed to present in Everybody's Game. It takes a whole lot of Mana to stand in front of an audience and discuss this topic. You are making a world of difference to many people!
